October Blogging Challenge
As I mentioned in my October Photo Challenge post today, I had a lazy Saturday at home and didn’t leave the house. So my OOTD is fairly uninteresting. I went for full on comfort, as comfortable as I can get without being in pyjamas. So I pulled on my current favourite lazy t-shirt, a rose pink and white NYC top:
I bought this as part of my holiday wardrobe for New York (it was perfect!) and I am loving this dusky rose colour at the minute. My entire wardrobe was this colour and I LOVE it. This is the so soft and perfect for cosy days on the sofa, every time I see it I think of New York too and I like that it reminds me of my honeymoon. it’s almost as good as being there….almost.
My go to comfy bottoms are a pair of jogging bottoms I bought from Hollister in my first year at uni, when sweatpants made up half of my wardrobe and was never worn for actual fitness purposes. Being from Hollister I am fairly sure they had some other name like “Yoga Pants” but I fell in love with their cranberry colour (I am a sucker for berry colours, mulberry, cranberry, crimson – anything that makes me think of autumn, cold warms, scarves and Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte). Five years later and they are still going strong, haven’t faded, stretched, shrunk – anything but kept going. Although granted nowadays they are used for the odd lazy weekend, for travel wear or occasionally to the gym. Either way they have not bobbled and look brand new, the little heroes that they are.
So the clothes don’t exactly match but they served their comfort purpose, which to be honest is all I needed today!
